Children's Diabetes Conference:
Medical Care

Meal plans, including snacks, were considered when this event was planned and the menu was developed. Meals will be served buffet style by the conference center. Dietitians will be available at meals for consultation and advice. Substitute meals will be available for children who do not the food on the buffet. Any food allergies or concerns should be shared with us on the Information and Consent Form prior to attending the event.

Families are encouraged to check their own blood glucose levels, administer their insulin, and record all results prior to eating meals. Blood Glucose Monitoring and insulin administration may be done at the table prior to meals (we are in a private dining area) or you may go back to your hotel.
