Children's Diabetes Conference:
Philosophy

The Children's Diabetes Conference is first and foremost a retreat weekend for children with diabetes aged 3-12. Its primary purpose is to give each child an enjoyable experience---the games, daily activities, songs, and evening entertainment. The conference is family oriented and offers many activities for full-family participation.

There are also times when adults are scheduled for adult diabetes education sessions and the children are scheduled for their own fun-filled activities. Adult education sessions are led by experts in the field of diabetes or health care and children's sessions are operated by child-care professionals with training and experience in diabetes care for children and teens.
