Setebaid® Harrisburg Diabetic Youth CampHarrisburg Diabetic Youth Camp:
Location

The HDYC, located at Camp Victory is located in the hills of north-central Pennsylvania. Camp Victory expands over several acres of land which includes two ponds, a primitive camping area in the forest, open playing fields, a crystal clear swimming pool, out door amphitheater, and at the center of the camp a state of the art dining hall and medical facility.

The camp also has 12 (air conditioned) cabins, separated six and six in two areas. Each cabin comfortably sleeps 12 campers and 4 staff on twin size beds, however maximum capacity of the cabins is actually 24. Each cabin has its own bathroom and there is a central bath house located equidistant from each cabin area.

In the evening the temperatures at camp can get quite cool, deeming the air conditioning unnecessary, however during the day with our wide open fields the camp can get quite warm. Temperatures during the day frequently hit the mid to upper 80s.
