Frequently Asked Questions:
-
Can I register by phone or US Mail?
Setebaid Services is available to assist you via phone from 9AM – 3PM ET M-F. Our staff is available to assist you with registration, but cannot take phone registrations. You may register online or via US Mail. You may click above to register online or download the forms above to register via US Mail.
-
Is Financial Assistance available and how is it awarded?
Setebaid Services awards financial assistance when it is available; sponsors and donors make limited financial assistance available each year. Financial assistance is awarded based upon the adjusted gross income and the number of dependents in the household. The financial assistance application form is available above and must be returned to the office via US Mail with a copy of IRS Form 1040 for the year immediately preceding the year of the camp for which you are applying.
-
Can I register online and apply for financial assistance online?
You may register online and apply for financial assistance. However, the online system requires
a non-refundable deposit of $175. The benefit of using the online system is that you will have
less paperwork to complete for the camper. If you compete an online registration and are
seeking financial assistance, you must still complete the financial assistance form and mail it
to our
office with a copy of IRS Form 1040 for the year immediately preceding the camp for
which you are applying. If you paid the $175 non-refundable deposit online, you do NOT need
to pay the $50 deposit with the financial assistance form.
You may also choose to complete only the paper form above and mail it to our office with a check for $50 as a non-refundable deposit. This will allow you to hold a space for your camper with less money, but will require that you complete all camper registration on paper. In either case, the non-refundable deposit does not guarantee that you will receive financial assistance, nor is it refundable or transferrable to any other camper. The non-refundable deposit is not tax-deductible because it is a fee-for-service, not a donation.
-
If I register online, can I still request financial assistance?
If you register online, you may request financial assistance. To do so, you must complete the paper financial assistance form (downloadable from above), attach a copy of your signed IRS Form 1040 for the year immediately preceding the camp for which you are applying. If you paid the $175 non-refundable deposit online, you do NOT nee d to enclose the $50 non-refundable fee with the financial assistance application form.
